Job Summary: PJ's Coffee Crew Leader at PJ's Coffee of New Orleans
At PJ's Coffee, we're all about crafting exceptional coffee and creating memorable experiences, and we need a passionate, results-driven manager to lead our team in Missouri City, TX! As the PJ's Coffee Crew Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in not only achieving revenue and growth goals, but also fostering a culture built on our core values of quality, service, and Southern hospitality.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead, train, and inspire your team to reach their full potential, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, especially in our drive-thru. You will be empowered to set performance goals, develop staff skills, and continuously improve processes to meet and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of baristas, driving both personal and professional development.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, with a special focus on optimizing drive-thru performance.
  • Set and achieve revenue, growth, and customer satisfaction goals, aligning team efforts with PJ’s Coffee’s mission.
  • Cultivate a positive work culture based on PJ’s values of quality, service, and hospitality.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory, scheduling, and staff performance to ensure the shop runs efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Managers Certification
  • Flexible Schedule (Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed)
  • Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least 1 year of FOH operations and/or other management positions.
  • Management/leadership experience is preferred.
  • A passion for creating a Humble, Focused, and Fun team culture.
  • A passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for the coffee industry.
  • Previous experience working in a coffee shop or quick service restaurant preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and implement marketing strategies.
  • Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
  • Basic problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are needed.
  • Availability to work at least 25 - 30 hours per week.
 
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
