PJ's Coffee in Frisco, TX is looking for part-time morning baristas to join our team! We are conveniently located at 7967 S Custer Road, Suite 100.
Our ideal candidate is exceptionally friendly, welcoming and customer-focused and reliable and dependable
Store Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Requirements:
- Must be available on Sundays for consideration
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- We are currently ONLY hiring for our morning and mid shift positions. Shifts available between 6AM and 3:30 PM.
We are NOT accepting applications for seasonal positions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Address customer requests quickly and in a positive manner
- Memorize entire menu and ingredients and prepare all orders according to PJ's standards
- Assist in the restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies
- Check in deliveries
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change
- Show up on time ready to work as scheduled
- Keep an updated Food Handlers certification
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Strong attention to detail
Required Skills:
- Minimum 1 year of prior coffee or food experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of coffee and brewing (preferred)
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Must have basic cash handling skills, and ability to perform basic mental math
Physical requirements:
- Ability to occasionally bend, squat, and kneel
- Ability to lift, push, and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional use of ladders
- Standing and walking up to 8 hours
